Jesus redefines family, stating that those who do the will of God are his true family, not just those related by blood. When told his mother and brothers were waiting to see him, Jesus points to his disciples and declares that anyone who does the will of his Father in heaven is his brother, sister, and mother. This passage emphasizes that spiritual connection and obedience to God's will are the basis of true family within the Christian community.
